Shelter Dog of the Week: Meet Stitch

Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier: Stitch from Petfinder

This week’s shelter dog really touched my heart because she looks just like my Xena.

Stitch is a sweet, loving pit bull who’s in need of a home. She was found wondering the streets. For all we know she was thrown out by an irresponsible dog owner or was a product of the streets. Either way, she’s in need of a home since her foster parents are no longer able to care for her.

Stitch loves to be around people and relax on the couch, but please be aware that she does not do well with other dogs. She’s good at learning new things and would make a perfect dog for someone or a couple without kids or other animals.

If you can provide Stitch with a permanent home please contact Animal Action Rescue by clicking here. Or you can visit Stitch’s profile at Petfinder or at the Today’s Treasures Rescue and Adoption.

Today’s Treasures Rescue and Adoption is not an animal shelter. They are a group of angels, according to me, who take in abandon shelters and provide foster homes for them until they can find permanent homes through adoption. Currently they rescue dogs and cats in Chilton County, Alabama.

Shelter Dog of the Week is a weekly dedicated post for helping abandoned dogs, abused dogs, or stray dogs that are now adoptable find permanent homes. Please adopt a dog today! Or help find a home for one of these deserving dogs by spreading the word.
